We are seeking former MNL based Delta Flight Attendants who are service-oriented, safety-minded professionals who love to be on the go, help others, and enjoy variety in their work. Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers while providing exceptional customer service, at an altitude of at least 8,000 feet
Participate in pre-flight briefings and in-flight responsibilities
Provide assistance lifting and stowing luggage
Demonstrate the use of safety and emergency equipment and ensure safety requirements are met
Prepare, serve beverages (including alcohol) and meals (which may include beef, pork, seafood, peanuts, etc.)
Answer questions and assist passengers when necessary, particularly those with special needs
Comfort and reassure passengers during the flight when an aircraft experiences delays or hits turbulence
Administer and coordinate emergency procedures or provide emergency care when needed
Respond to and provide clear and accurate directions (verbally or non-verbally) to passengers in the event of an emergency
Flight Attendants must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule. Our flights operate on nights, weekends and holidays and sometimes get rerouted, so you should be prepared to do so too.

Flight Attendant compensation is paid as an hourly rate for all hours flown or credited. Additional credits such as per diems and expense reimbursements also apply. Total compensation also includes Shared Rewards, holiday pay and profit sharing (based on company performance). As a Delta Flight Attendant, some factors that may affect your compensation are the number of hours you fly per month and tenure.
Flight Attendant pay is based on scheduled or actual flight time for each flight segment and/or the applicable credit time guarantee.
Delta Flight Attendants must have a valid passport with at least 6 months left until expiry; our recommendation is to ensure you have at least 1 year until expiry at time of application; if you do not have a passport now, you can still apply, but you will be required to have one by January 1, 2020 in order to continue with any stages in hiring process.
The application and interview process will require applicants to complete various interview stages, including phone interview and in-person interview in Manila.
Before beginning work in the Flight Attendant role, new hires must successfully complete approximately 5 weeks of training in the U.S. starting early February 2020. Training is mandatory and only one training session is available. This training will require finalists have a passport and obtain a US B-1 visa in advance of travel. During training in the U.S., participants receive a training wage, lodging and meal per diem.

Legal eligibility to work in the Philippines
At least 21 years of age by January 1, 2020
A college/university degree, trade/vocational/technical school degree or professional certificate beyond high school level
Must meet height requirement of 158 cms due to safety procedures
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include overnight stays, reroutes, nights, weekends, holidays
Proficient in speaking, reading, writing and understanding English language
Willingness to comply with our uniform and appearance guidelines, including parameters around tattoos and piercings
Ability to obtain and keep current a passport and travel documents to freely enter and exit places where Delta flies; willingness and ability to obtain visas for countries where a pre-approved visa is required
Ability to attend and successfully complete a 5-6 consecutive week training period in the U.S. starting February 2020; Flight Attendants also are required to pass continuing training requirements in the U.S. every 18 months
Consent to a pre-employment comprehensive background check, including criminal history record, education, employment history
Ability to work in a physically demanding role which requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching and lifting (i.e., pushing/pulling beverage or food carts and lifting and opening emergency aircraft doors)
Ability to sit in an assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened
At least one-year successful experience as a MNL based Delta Flight Attendant
Primary residence in metro Manila or willingness to move to the area if hired
Education beyond basic qualification
