Job Description

The Inflight Training Specialist position is responsible for assisting the Manager of Inflight Training in the tracking, facilitation, and planning of all training in the Inflight department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Assist with the development, revision and maintenance of all Flight Attendant Training materials and courseware.

• Assist in auditing current policies/procedures to ensure compliance with CFRs and TSRs.

• Assist with the tracking and verification of currency for the Flight Attendant Training Records

• Conduct Quality Assurance Rides/Line Checks to audit and evaluate safety and service procedures.

• Assist with the planning, scheduling, and coordinating of all training events for FAs.

• Responsible for coordination and scheduling of all resources for classroom and hands on training events

• Responsible for Instructing/Facilitation of Flight Attendant Training Programs

• Responsible for conducting Initial Operating Experience Flights for new hires

• Responsible for conducting quarterly audits of training programs

• Support the day to day operational duties of the Inflight Department

• Any other duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous curriculum design and development experience.

• Previous teaching and/or instructing experience.

• Line Flight Attendant experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Able to acquire flight attendant certification though Sun Country Airlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
